The Dick Boat
Ten times the size of the largest cruise ship, FSP's floating carbon-neutral utopic society, better known as the “dick boat”, serves as not only his home, but the home of all of his employees. Complete with an amusement park, lazy river, LED sphere, full sized runway, a Coachella-sized festival area, and a complete recreation of all his favorite stores, the dick boat has everything. And just in case you forgot who was in charge of it all, a massive 300ft naked statue of FSP towers above.
Created By Daniel Chavez
Born and chaotically raised in Los Angeles, Daniel Chavez has had anything but an ordinary life. From enduring physical and psychological abuse, violence, deaths, and foster homes, Daniel eventually moved in with his Vietnam vet dad in the mid-90’s and slept on the fold out bed in the living room during his high school years. He would discover in 2016 that his dad wasn’t his biological dad, and would eventually find out his biological dad was actually a drug smuggling lighting tech at the Whiskey A Go Go who had an Elvis impersonator act with his 27 year old Filipino girlfriend. Daniel would eventually meet his biological dad in Kiev only a few short months before the Russians invaded, but that’s a story for another time.
Daniel bypassed college and worked for free on film sets as a grip, learning the film industry by the seat of his pants. After realizing that manual labor wasn’t his thing, he ended up working for Jill Kelly Productions, a porn company, handling distribution and some production tasks. After quitting that job he moved on to a gay fetish wrestling company called Can-Am, where he would meet a guy who knew a guy that worked for Digital Domain. Thus starting his 20+ year career in visual effects production, where he worked on such movies as Avatar, Suicide Squad, Take Shelter, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, and Challengers, to name a few.
During this time Daniel learned how to use the 3d animation software in his industry to make his own cartoons. Tapping into the well of knowledge that his colleagues and YouTube could provide, Daniel learned how to model, rig, animate, light, direct, sound design, and edit his own cartoons, for the sole purpose of displaying his passion… writing really dumb comedy.
Still residing in Los Angeles, Daniel is married with no kids, and a Lego room. Which is, by far, the most interesting part of this biography.
